Urticaria :

Also called as Hives, are red raised itchy bumps, which may disappear and reappear over short periods of time. There are two types of hives – short lived (acute) and long term (chronic).

Common Triggers:

Food(peanuts,eggs,nuts and shellfish), food additives,Medications,Infections,Some plants, Insect stings,Physical stimuli, such as pressure, cold, heat, exercise or sun exposure

Chronic hives typically do not have an identifiable trigger.

Hives are not typically life-threatening, though any swelling in the throat or difficulty in breathing, stomach cramps or swelling around the eyes , mouth,hands or feet requires immediate emergency care.
